  • ITMA Incentive Travel & Meetings Association / 5th National Bronze Award 1999 .

    ITMA is a complementary trade association which in January 2006 merged with the Corporate Events Association (CEA) to form Eventia (Events Industry Association). The association is dedicated to increasing the quality, value and profile of events for its members and all stakeholders. Eventia is a hub for organisations that provide business solutions through the use of events
  • Hermes Award 2002 for “Best Innovation in Terms of Environmental Protection”

On Monday November 4th 2002 and for the 3rd consecutive year, the HTR Magazine and the company MKG Consulting, the largest French company in Tourism Marketing, presented at the Paris Eiffel Tower Hilton Hotel the International “Hermes Awards 2002”. The award for “Best Innovation in Terms of Environmental Protection was presented to the 5-star Deluxe Resort Hotel Complex “OUT OF THE BLUE, Capsis Elite Resort” for the following environmental action plan:

  • The Capsis Botanical Gardens of 167.000 m2 consist of flowers, plants and trees from all over the world and are decorated with statues, lakes, ponds, cascades, waterfalls, and a river.
  • The Capsis Private Zoo is a home to many animals and birds from all over the world and the only one in Greece located in a Resort Hotel.
  • The Capsis Production of Goods, vegetables, herbs, fruits and flowers are organically grown for the needs of the hotel at 3 hotel greenhouses and in a total area of 25 acres inside and outside the facility.
  • A completed Environmental Protection Plan with specific actions and measures for the protection of the environment around the hotel, such as, energy saving & conservation of natural resources in the hotel, waste management, specific environmental plan for the Food & Beverage Departments, noise emissions control for rooms and public areas, use of electrical mini cars, seawater control, etc.
